An Air Force major has been charged with the murder of his wife, months after he reported her missing.

Andre McDonald was arrested in Texas on Monday and is currently being held in the Bexar County Jail.

According to USA Today, the body of his wife, Andreen McDonald was discovered on Thursday.

McDonald was indicted after he had reported his wife missing in March, after investigators found a shovel, an ax, gasoline and a burn barrel at the major’s home, as well as a receipt for some of the items.

“It led us to believe that these were implements that were going to be used to dispose of a body,” said Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.

A cyberwar operations officer, McDonald worked at USAF Joint Base San-Antonio Camp Bullis. His bond is set at $2 million.
