  1. ‘vehicle accelerated through the gate’
“This is a tragedy …thoroughly investigate to determine the facts and circumstances … tragedy”
If you don’t know why the men accelerated through the gate, do you know if it’s a tragedy?
It might be the best possible outcome.

  2. How is this a tragedy? The real tragedy here is the writer of this shit ticket not checking their work.

” Three men were killed late Friday when their vehicle drove attempted to drive through a gate at Robins Air Force Base.”

  3. Definitely more to the story then just casually attempting to drive through the gate. Way to go SF @ Robins.

  4. The death of enemy personnel no matter who they are is cause for joy, not a “tragedy”. Good work by SecFo! Beirut showed what happens when anyone can drive through a gate.

  5. No tragedy here, this is exactly how it should’ve ended. If they had run over somebody on base, THAT would’ve been a tragedy. Security Forces did the right thing here, good job mashing the red button for the barricades.

  6. If they had gotten through and ran over somebody on base, THAT would’ve been a tragedy. The way this ended, it’s business. Don’t go charging through a military base gate and you won’t get your ass calibrated with extreme prejudice.

  7. The base is only 50 miles from me. Still do not have any idea what their intentions were. Go going AP’s!
