USAF Major accused of tampering with evidence related to his wife’s disappearance

Major Andre Sean McDonald and his wife Nicole.

A Major in the US Air Force Reserve was scheduled for a hearing this morning in relation to charges concerning the tampering of evidence and disappearance of his wife.

Major Andre Sean McDonald, a cyber warfare officer based out of San Antonio, Texas, is currently being held on $2 million bail and staying at the Bexar County Jail.

McDonald’s wife, Andreen Nicole McDonald, was last seen on February 28 and was reported missing on March 1. Law enforcement officials believe her to be dead.

When the McDonalds were last seen together, they were involved in a verbal altercation, and a search of the home revealed the woman’s blood and hair in the couple’s master bedroom.

A subsequent review into McDonald’s purchase history revealed that he had bought a shovel, ax, trash bags, gloves and gasoline after his wife went missing.

According to My San Antonio, burn pits were found in the backyard of the home.

Several areas of Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis have been scoured, in part due to information that his wife may have been disposed of there.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information in relation to the incident.
